Hi everyone

Running late on the email this week so apologies for that.

Once again another very good turnout last week with some further new members. Welcome to you all. I am missing some of the new members email addresses so if you have invited people along over the last 2 months or so then can you either let me have there email addresses or forward this on. We like to keep everyone informed.

News this week comes from the National schools championships which were held in Norwich at the weekend. I do not have an individual results but Durham School did take silver in their age category. The school team was made up of Tigers members so well done to you all.

This weekend sees the final round of the Rossendale Summer league on Sunday. Tigers currently lie in 5th place with several members in individual medal positions. It has been a great effort by racers, parents and organizers alike. I wlll be showing my face on Sunday to cheer you all on after a great first year back at the summer league. Well done to you all!!

Dates for diaries
Next Castleford dates:
Sunday 28th October - I already have 13 names down for this one. 20 will be the maximum number (Niaill / Dan?coaching) so if you want a place now is the time to say as I think it will be full by the end of next week.
Sunday 25th November - taking names now if you want to book.

Saturday 20th October - North East Open Championships at Sunderland. Please name your club as Tigers if entering. Entry forms are available from the ski slope. Can you let me know if you have entered this so we get an idea of numbers. If there is enough we may provide a coach. Last chance to enter for this one is this weekend I think.

October half term training can take place on Tuesday 30th October from 12 - 5pm. I have 3 names already but need 10 to enable it to run. Andrew will be coaching this one and will need to organise time off. Therefore if you want to train then the cut off date will be Saturday 13th October or I will cancel it. The cost is approx 25 pounds.
October Half Term training day. Sorry we have only had 3 persons book for this so I have now postponed it.

Xmas snow training - Scotland 3- 5th January in a Scottish resort (probably Lecht and Glenshee) Cost approx 75 for the coaching for three days. Can you give me a rough idea on interest so we can start planning.

Now the bad news - memberships are due as off this week. The cost remains the same at 25 pounds per family. Please get a membership form from Richard and fill in the details.

Hope to see you tonight, for a slip and a slide :-)

Regards
