Hi everyone

Apologies for the lack of emails for a couple of weeks. Been a little tied up with other issues but back in the swing of things now.

Last week saw another good turnout at the Thursday session. Some fantastic skiing taking place and a warm friendly atmosphere. This is what Tigers is all about.

Sunday saw seven of our Tigers members take part in the Rossendale Summer League. I drove down on Sunday to help out and watch our team and what fantastic performances they put in, with excellent efforts by them all.

The provisional results were:
Martha Bradley 1st Ladies overall / U16 girls and a clean sweep of head to head races,
Becky Shepherdson 2nd U16 girls, 5th Ladies overall,
David Stokoe 2nd U50s Men,
James Shepherdson 7th U14 boys,
Amy Stokoe 1st U8,
Lauren Shepherdson 6th U8
Chris Shepherdson 1st U50 Ladies
The team got 22 points out of a possible 36 for the Head to Head races.
Next Rossendale League Sunday 12th August. Names to Lee Maitland or Helen Maltby

I have to say what a great effort these members put in and great improvements throughout the day, due to the amount of skiing and, fun atmosphere and head to head racing. Give it a go everyone!!

Some members have requested information on ski racing/ formats etc. I am hoping to do a presentation sometime very soon. Thursdays seem the most obvious idea so how about I date it for Thursday 19th July at the slope (Richard can you organise the room). I will put a little presentation together and we can have a Q & A session.
